You are the creators in this database, you enter monsters in the entry form, you can even include an image online. This is entirely a non-profit, for-your-own fun deal here. There's no guarantee that your monster will remain in the detabase for long. If I find it really stupid, really annoying, if it "Eats shit," or is an attempt to defame some real person, it will be deleted immediately. If I think that you didn't bother putting forth any effort to actually fill in the details, I will delete it. If you want it to remain here, put forth come effort, be creative, have fun, do the stuff you do when you do monsters! Here's a little checklist to determine if your monster will stick around long:
Now a list of don'ts:
The AD&D Game is a registred trademark of TSR, Inc. a subsidiary of Wizards of the Coast. I'll make those names into links when I'm more awake. This site is designed for monsters using the AD&D rules system, and although this design is used without permission, it's not making any money for me, but if TSR comes looking for me, I'll be happy to let them put this system on their own site, where I believe it should rightfully be (and I firmly believe they need things like this on their site). All I ask is credit where credit is due. I'd also like to note that the phrases like "Hit Dice" and "Armor Class" are copyrighted by TSR, I'm pretty sure, and then reinforce that this is all for free. I'd put money on the layout for a TSR AD&D Monstrous Compendium page (as I have taken painstaking means to reproduce here) is also pretty much owned by them flat-out. I'm not stealing, I'm offering a valuable AD&D gamer resource for free, and hoping somehting as magical and odd as occured with the AD&D 1st edition Fiend Folio might occur. At any rate, be forewarned, if you post something here and TSR does take this machine o' mine away, you may lose rights to the critter saved here, too. I don't know, nor am I a lawyer, nor would I want to be. |
