Drills are small four armed burrowers with dark brown skin and a feirce appetite.
If they are partially burrowed
they look for all the world like a large pile of mud.

Combat: These creatures tend to swarm at defenders, in groups of 4-8 per person. If they drop to less than 2 per person they will retreat by burrowing under the defenders to get to the food another way.

Habitat/Society: They live in large colonies much like ants, with whom they compete for food (the giant variety). The raid and frequently attack small villages and even small towns, if sufficient need and numbers are found.

THey have queens of average intelligence and 10 HD which they defend to the death

Ecology: These creatures are often used by evil dungeon masters as refuse disposal colonies and first line tropps in that order.
