Coal Golems are humanoids formed of coals, glowing as if still afire. Their eyes and mouth show the mighty fires that rage within, blazing like torches.
Combat:
Coal Golems attack with their powerful fists, punching twice a round for 2d4 damage per hit, plus setting any combusibles within 5 feet ablaze and dealing 1d6 damage to all within 10 feet of a battling Coal Golem. Those immune or highly resistant to fire take no damage from this aura and only 2d3 per hit.

Habitat/Society:
As artificial constructs, Coal Golems have no habitat or society. The mage who commands their amulet, usually worn as a nacklace, has complete control over them and need not retain concentration.
Ecology: Coal Golems take nothing from the environment around them. They do, however, give off great quantities of heat and draw creatures to them as a free source of heating. One enterprising mage uses his Coal Golem as the source of steam in his sauna business, placing the golem below a trickle of water. Another uses his as a portable tunnel creator in his wandering the northern glaciers. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
