Bone Worms are the reanimated remains of Behir. By some fluke of magical mishap the Bone Worm is uncontrollable and thinks it is still alive. The Bone Worm is a large snake like skeleton with glowing red eyes in empty black sockets. Combat: Bone Worms fight much like the Behir, they prefer to bite with their fanged maws and lash with their sharp tails for 2d6 damage. If a Bone Worm hits with its tail attack then the victim is paralysed for 1d10 rounds unless a save vs Death is made. Bone Worms still have some instincts and often avoid an enemy that looks to powerful. |
Habitat/Society: Bone Worms usually gather in groups where they can protect each other from great danger. They like to hunt in twos while the remaining family members stay in the cave, feeding on whatever they find. Ecology: Bone Worms have a drastic effect on the area they inhabit, often hunting every species of animal to near extinction. The Bone Worm only fears Dragons and Pyrolisks and so usually thrives in areas where these are not present. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
